Proper gas planning is essential to safe diving, but also adds to the enjoyment of the dive. After all, if you know you have enough gas to handle an emergency, you’ll enjoy the dive more.
Unfortunately, many divers have not been taught, or do not understand basic gas planning and management. Producing safe and thinking divers has always been our passion and it's important to us that this information be available to anyone wanting it, needing it or who are interested in it.
In this FREE workshop, we’ll spend a couple of hours discussing the following topics in a simple, easy to understand and logical progression:
Gas Consumption
Minimum Gas (Rock Bottom)
Tank Factors
Gas Plans
Then, since repetition is a great learning tool, we’ll spend 1-2 hours creating gas plans for different conditions and scenarios, starting simple and building progressively more challenging plans and profiles.
If you haven’t had any prior exposure to gas planning and management, we’ll start with the very basics and work from there. Those who are a bit rusty who need a refresher, this is a great method for getting up to date.
This is open to anyone, regardless of skill level
