UDT Tech 1 & 2

Technical Diver 1

is the first UTD course that familiarizes divers with the use of Nitrox 32 and/or Helitrox 25/25 as safe bottom breathing gases for use to depths of 130’/39m utilizing a single deco bottle of decompression gas (100% O2) for accelerated decompression procedures.

Technical Diver 2

is the second class structured to prepare divers for the rigors of technical (decompression) diving and to familiarize them with the use of two different Helitrox breathing gases (21/35 or 25/25), use of two different decompression mixtures (Nitrox 50 and 100% O2), and the use of a stage bottle for two technical dives in a day.
