DESCRIPTION:This may be the most important class any diver may take.\n
 \nUTD’s Rescue Diver course is designed to prepare the student for a
  variety of emergency situations and is centered around both self-resc
 ue and buddy-rescue.\n\nSelf-rescue skills begin with accident avoidan
 ce, dive planning, comfort in the water under stressful situations, an
 d equipment failures. Buddy-rescue skills include missing diver and se
 arch protocols, multiple air-sharing situations, lost mask/no visibili
 ty situations, assisting tired, panicked, disoriented, and unconscious
  divers at depth and on the surface, SMB deployment and surface commun
 ications.\n\nThe student completing this Rescue class will be more com
 fortable in the water and will be much more alert in preventing small 
 situations from becoming full-fledged emergencies.\n\nThis class cover
