"Deco for Divers"

There was a short discussion started in the Seattle group and some of the folks thought it might be a good idea to share with everyone here on the main forums. Lynne Flaherty also has a review linked in the Decompression forum, titled "I'm annoyed with Mark Powell". If I had done as much research on Deco theory as she has, before this book was written, I'd be annoyed too!

I recently Picked up a Copy of "Deco for Divers-A divers guide to Decompression Theory and Physiology" By Mark Powell. I've just started reading it and I have to say, this is going to be a very good book. Deco theory makes my head spin, but it's written specifically for the average diver who has a desire to learn more about decompression. This is going to be a MUST HAVE in any divers library, and an excellent resource for instructors.

I can only agree to this. Bought this book myself some time ago and it is written really clearly. Anybody can understand it.

Disappointed that RGBM had a very brief superficial description of the model (I've got most of Bruce Wienke's published monographs now loosely stuffed into that section on RGBM); otherwise, an excellent book overall. . .
