Welcome to UTD.
I'm sure once you get some official training to the UTD/DIR approach you will progress with your trim and kicks quickly. Look into setting up an Essentials class out there, it will be a great experience for you and your team mates. Let me know if you have any questions,

We currently have UTD instructors in Denmark, Italy, Spain, and Poland. Please let me know if you'd like help setting up an Essentials class.

Welcome Richard. I have found that tank placement helped a lot with this for me. I am really negative too. Another tip is a bit more undergarment in the legs adds some buoyancy.
