Yes, the diver that has lost the EAN50 continues with back gas. At the end, if you have not ean50 to breath as result of this, you must duplicate the time of deco at 6m, but we apreciatte that the time you gain at 21 and 18 equals the double because you are breathing at 1,6-1,4ata of PpO2 and is much more benneficial for you and safest than duplicate all with back gas.

For a Tech2 or Trimix1 dive

Share doing the full time each until the 50% runs out.
At that point you will have done 1.5x the required deco. Why? 1min on 50% counts as 1min in RD, 1 min on backgas counts as 1/2min on 50%. So the time you spend on backgas while your buddy does his stop counts as 1/2 the stop.

So you have 0.5x (or less) of the deco remaining to do.
If you complete the remaining deco on backgas that counts for 0.5 time so you would theoretically consider yourself done with that segment.

For a Tech2 dive the segment end at the surface, for a trimix1 dive you'd be at the 20ft O2 stop and would continue the O2 deco as planned.
