Unified Team Diving

I copied this from "the future" thread to keep it organized......

Saturday, August 29, 2009.

The Cape Able (Odgen Point's larger boat) takes 12 single tank divers (2 tanks each)
Erin suggested 8 to maybe 10 tech divers with scooters
Its $850 CD + GST for the whole boat.
So call it about $125 per person.

Who's in for this? First dibs to this list, then I will ask the DIRproject folks.
Recreational dive on the Mackenzie (max 95ft although she's penetratable with overhead training)
150ft 21/35+50% dive on the Black Dragon

So far:
Richard
Brian
Jeanna
Guy Shockey
Mark Gottfried
Doug Marcoux (if not on Diamond Knot trip)

3-4 spots left.

Count me in ... I've been wanting to dive with Guy (in particular) for ages.

... Bob
Sorry Bob, scratch Guy and Gottfried, they realized they're headed to the Diamond Knot this day! We'll probably cross on the water :(

We now have:
Richard
Brian
Jeanna
Doug Marcoux
Bob
Chris Fenton is a possible

Need ~2-3 few more for Ogden's larger boat... :)
Guys, I may be able to make it if there is still room if you don't mind.

Todd
Todd, there's always space for you!

We'll hold a spot for you and can discuss when the date gets closer.
Being an over-night, it's a bit too soon following the Channel Islands trip to be away, plus I'm doing the DK, and this is in the middle of an intensive "inter-session" (2 full classes in 4 weeks), so I'm going to withdraw from the list and free open a spot. If something changes, and there is still space available I might be able to swing it, but for now definitely give my spot to someone a lot more firm.
Is anyone up for going up a day early or staying a day later and monkeying the breakwater? That is a kick ass monkey dive!

Yes. Unless someone wanted to leave Pugetropolis at an obscene hour of the night (morning?), its pretty much a required overnight anyway. Might as well go a few hours early and get in a dive at the breakwater, test out the scooters yanno ;)

We need 7 or 8 on the boat or the per diver cost will end up being prohibitive tho.
If you need more divers, wanna check to see if Scott C, Ben G, or any of that crew wanna go?

Sorry guys, I've been off the last several days and haven't spent much time on the computer.

Bob, if *think* I have 2 others who are interested. However, if you'd like to tell Scott and Ben that there may be a couple of spots, you're welcome to.

Brian
So as of right now by my guesstimate we have:
Richard
Brian
Jeanna
Bob
Howard

Maybe Chris Fenton

The boat is $849 CD + gst so we need 8 to make this a go. We could probably fit 10 in a pinch.
Scott C added; 6 total now.

To refresh, this is a 3 dive 1 night weekend deal.
Monkey (or single tank) Friday evening at the breakwater

Saturday the 29th
AM Mackenzie (space-wise I'm assuming single tank, max 95ft not really all that interesting inside anyway)
PM Black Dragon, 21/35 + 50%
drive home Saturday late.
Also, Todd Powell and I'm waiting on 2 maybes.
