Unified Team Diving

Right now I think we have space for 1 more. ~40mins BT, 110ft, 25/25 + O2 deco. "Tech1" or above + scooter. This is a long day trip from Seattle, slack is in the afternoon. Launching in Port Angeles, ~12 miles by boat west from there.

We also need a boat tender and will train :)

I'd love to go. If you needed a boat tender, I could ask Dad if he'd be able to make it. He's very good with boats and would just need a dive-specific briefing.
Don't you have a boat? We have alot of interested people (esp. now) and could actually stand to take another boat. The Mark V is booked already otherwise I'd consider switching to that.
I've got a ski boat on Lake Sammamish - no way is it going out there.

Aren't you a diver first? ;)

At this point we are essentially overbooked (that was fast). I am looking into getting another boat to go.
Actually I was wake boarding and drinking beer long before I was diving. The ski boat is great for setting the perfect wake, keeps the beer beautifully chilled, and has a phat sound system... but it's no dive boat unless you're diving off the tower naked after losing a bet (or so I've heard).

Well if it's booked let me know and I'll make other plans, but I'd like to go if there is room. If we come up with a boat and just need someone to tow it, I'm glad to do that too.
We'll get you on the list Doug--it would be fun to get you out there. I think the way this happened is the three of us not counting right, but hopefully we'll dredge up another boat (Peter?) and get everyone out there.

Or, buy this:

And join us . . .
Add me to the list if I'm not already on it...Let me know.
I think we are full now:
Kirk, Lundy, Sounder, Steding, Brian, Jeanna, Peter, Melody + myself. Did I miss anyone??

Oh and Peter has a boat tender available :)

10 = full load.
Small doubles (hp100/lp85s of 25/25) please.
Sweet! Is this a 1 dive day?

I'm really looking forward to this - the DK has been on my to-do list for a while now.

Yup, long day trip, not enough slacks/time to do much more. Not 100% sure what's going on with Peter and Nottie. She (the boat) will be over in Port Townsend at his sister's house. But we will meet up in Port Angeles at a ramp and get the teams worked out. At least a few of us (e.g. me + Brian etc) are fine diving this with anyone, although others may prefer more familiar buddies. Shouldn't be a big deal to mix and match buddies so everyone is comfortable with the plans.
I'm happy to dive with anyone going. I'd enjoy going with someone who knows the wreck though to show me the "must sees" and save BT by avoiding the "can be skipped" stuff.

I assume everyone will be on scooters due to current issues and the sheer size of the boat, right?

I'm quite excited for this.
