UTD Projects 2012
UTD currently sponsors many goal orientated diving projects throughout the world. From recreational diving based - "Fish counts", to reef surveys, to more technical diving based - "wreck survey", to overhead projects - "cave mapping/survey", to extreme diving and scientific based projects - "deep lakes", caves, and other amazing places untouched by man.
Below, you will find a list - Icons and Links - to the Upcoming Projects, Ongoing Projects and Completed Projects. These links lead to an information page that outlines the details of each of these projects, including:
As you can see, many of these upcoming and ongoing projects are looking for UTD Members(Standard, Premium or Platinum) to use their training, diving skills and other resources to participate and help accomplish the goals of each these UTD Sponsored Projects.
On the right hand side under the heading Page is a link to UTD Project Participation Levels (or click here) that outlines the variety of levels at which you can participate in any of these projects. (From surface support, to financial support, to extreme exploration diver) If you decide that you are interested in helping out or participating in some way with one or more of the UTD Projects, simply go to my.unifiedteamdiving.com and fill-out a registration form, waiver and release and medical form, listing the particular project that you are interested in, who the project co-ordinator is, and at what level you are interested in supporting the project. Your "application" will be forwarded to the project co-ordinator who will then contact you directly. Otherwise, simply email us at projects@unifiedteamdiving.com and we will send you in the right direction.
Once you have being "approved"to participate in a UTD Project, the project co-ordinator will invite you to "Join the Project Group", in which you will find all the details you need about, how, when, where and so on to participate or support the project. These project groups are generally private to team members only, as they often contain sensitive information about the inner workings of a project and are only really relevant to the team members who are actively participating in that project.
Note: All findings, survey data, maps, video, pictures and other publishable material about the project will be delivered on each of the Project Information Pages, which are open to the general public.
Are you interested in having UTD Sponsor a Project? - (click here)
If you are interested in having UTD sponsor or participate in a project that you may have in mind or are currently running, you can apply by completing the UTD Project Preliminary Application Form (Also listed under the "pages heading" as a link on the right hand side). We will review it and get back to you, on setting up the information page and private team member group.
Finally, we hope you enjoy reading about each of the projects and their findings and look forward to maybe one day seeing you sponsor or participating in a UTD Project. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us at projects@unifiedteamdiving.com
