Unified Team Diving

For the last 2 weeks we have had 6 "nortes", which is when the wind blows hard out of the north (that means the wind coming down from Canada dropping snow on you guys). This is very normal for this time of year.

What you need to know, is that when a norte blows in, for one or two days the port might be closed for boats 40' and under. Nortes normally last 3 days with the first two being the worst. So plan to do some other activity besides diving. You can always do a shore dive to Paradise Reef, if you know where to jump in. This is also an excellent time to do a cave dive here one the island. If interested please give me a shout, so that I can recommend someone, because very very few guides are to UTD/DIR standards.

A fleece jacket is also nice, for on the boat and at night. Coldest air temp will be high 60F.
Hope this helps, see under h2o, Omar.
