Andrew Georgitsis, founder of UTD International, LLC, has a long-standing history in the development of DIR/Hogarthian diving, its teaching principles, and course structures. He has personally developed all of the Unified Team Diving principles, teaching methodologies, class structures, and course materials, and taken an active role in the research and development of the supporting equipment. It is his personal responsibility and goal to ensure that you, the instructor or student, receive the best quality class and equipment that adheres to the highest standards in the industry and is completely UTD/DIR/Hogarthian compliant. He is personally involved with all aspects of the company, including the development of the Global Community, the research and development of the supporting equipment and all the Instructor Development Classes, he also over-sees the quality assurance process. 


Unified Team DIving ensures that all UTD Facilities and Certified Instructors teach classes that are based on a consistent and Unified Team Diving (UTD) approach, in other words consistent with the UTD ethos, standards and skill sets. At UTD, we always believe divers should be trained beyond their level of diving, as opposed to diving beyond their level of training.
