The UTD Expedition Diver is the ultimate recognition for a UTD member who has dedicated years of training and experience to reach the highest level of excellence. Earning the Expedition Diver card signifies a combination of expertise, training, experience and dedication to have reached the pinnacle of extreme diving. The Expedition Diver has earned the ability to explore deeply into the world’s oceans, wrecks and caves and has made a life-long commitment to the training and discipline needed for these extreme dives.

The UTD Expedition Diver is truly the ultimate “thinking diver.”

The UTD Expedition card is issued to a diver who has completed the following UTD courses:
* UTD Trimix 2
* UTD Wreck 2 or Cave 2
* UTD Scooter 2
* UTD Rescue and Emergency Procedures or equivalent
* UTD Technical Gas Blender
