About me:
I began volunteering for the Santa Monica Baykeeper's Kelp Project in 2006 and found my calling. I was lucky enough to get hired and am now the Kelp Project Director. I'm so pumped to use science and community efforts to restore lost habitat. There is no other place like southern California. Thanks to Jeff Seckendorf for diving and giving in so many ways to help out the Kelp Project! Go UTD!

Hey Brian, Welcome (again) to UTD! Your Santa Monica Baykeeper group is all set up, so you can now encourage the Baykeeper Divers to sign up and join the group - you can use it announce kelp dives and other things you have going on. We also have a local Los Angeles group, you can click here to join that. Feel free to announce the Baykeeper happenings there, also. And you can put your events in our event calendar.

I'm looking forward to getting back on the newly painted and fitted boat. I know it will be faster now. :)
