Camping with the MX-KISS

Just back from a fun time camping, diving and a bit of 4wd around the south west of Australia.  We loaded up the FJ with all the camping gear and supplies for 2 people, 5 x faber 12lt, 1 MX-KISS with twin ali40's, 2x6cuft O2 drive bottles and an ali40 of O2 for topping up the little 6's plus all the other assorted dive gear. MX-KISS'ed the Little Beach

I Just got back from another dive using the MX-KISS, this time at Little Beach (Two Peoples Bay, Albany, western Australia).  Today was a shore dive with a tricky surf entry and exit on OC no probs with all that bailout/diluent on my back.  It was still very surgy even at 13m but I eventually started to get my trim and bouyancy (almost) under control.2 hours logged now with the new configuration and starting to really like it.  Any apprehensions I had about WOB, weight and bulk compared to when…See More
