Does your LDS carry both hoses (in which case you can just walk in and try each)? If not, have friends with each size? In singles (and doubles), I've found 22" to work fine.

With a modicum of practice, getting into and out of a hog harness (on land or in the water) is easily accomplished. If you need to quickly get someone out of their kit in an emergency, cut them out. We all keep a sharp knife on the waist strap.
