Re:transborder How about Skyline Wall? That is an awesome scooter dive. Or maybe a San Juans charter.

By any chance does anyone here have an open or enclosed cargo trailer I could borrow for a week or so? Obviously I'll return it clean and my insurance will cover any damage. Something in the 4 or 5ft by 8ft long size range would be ideal but really…

Actually I'm surprised to hear Kevin talking about this newfangled helium stuff at all :p

You can get a vestibular hit going to O2 at 20ft if you have enough of a gas load still or PFO. This is with no "counterdiffusing inerts" at all. The middle ear just doesn't offgas well to begin with. That said, you don't need to reinvent the wheel…

Just out of curiosity, why is the age limit 18 for Essentials of Tech and Rec2?? (as examples) Those are nitrox based courses, no hard or virtual overheads, no helium etc. Not that what everyone else does is right, but looking at some other agencies…

Too good to just leave on the local board!

How hard do you want to work for it? This place is only do-able in low flow summertime, a 10-11 hour drive from Seattle, 4wd only the last hour then a ~45min hike with tanks. Forget getting fills. One of our partners has a compressor and I'm convert…

Sweet. I hope by the time I get around to getting some cave training there will be some passageway left to discover somewhere.

I wrapped up school the end of June. Tanks are hydro'd and ready for pickup. Regs are in the process of being serviced (learning to do my own gear). Was suppose to five on 7/11 with James, but found out late that my neck seal degraded over the past 2 1/2 years without diving. Sending that out on Monday or tomorrow for repairs.

Kid 2 (James Michael, aka Jamie) is due in Sept. Plan to do a couple of dives between now and then to help out as a support diver on the SS Tahoe project, and then ramp up afterwards. It's soooo good to be done, and ready to get back in the water.

We'll have to plan another trip up there in 6 to 12 months once Jamie is a bit older. Can't wait to do another awesome tech drift dive up there.

How have you been?
