"In NFL they'd add lead to the lower band. But you can also clip the lower tank connection to the crotch strap to keep those tanks in trim as they get low. They need not smack the ceiling."

Both fixed and swivel turrets are fine. If you get swivels get the bottom facing port for sure. There are hose routing pages here which explain both."

Jason Wyatt said… - I wrapped up school the end of June. Tanks are hydro'd and ready for pickup. Regs are in the process of being serviced (learning to do my own gear). Was suppose to five on 7/11 with James, but found out late that my neck seal degraded over the past 2 1/2 years without diving. Sending that out on Monday or tomorrow for repairs.
Kid 2 (James Michael, aka Jamie) is due in Sept. Plan to do a couple of dives between now and then to help out as a support diver on the SS Tahoe project, and then ramp up afterwards. It's soooo good to be done, and ready to get back in the water.
We'll have to plan another trip up there in 6 to 12 months once Jamie is a bit older. Can't wait to do another awesome tech drift dive up there.
