"Todd Generally if you require a lift capacity of 55lbs+ then that would mean that you are Technical/Trimix diving and carrying multiple stages and deco bottles and personally I find the horseshoe a better wing to help balance those…"

"Both DS4 and DST will do the job just fine. Where turret really makes a difference is a stage reg. You will probably need to fine tune necklace hose length depending on how you route it and what kind of wing you have. Wireless transmitter is not…"

"I have 14 dives on a set of doubles with DST's that I use with xtx50 2nd stages. Like Richard said, the bottom facing port is very nice for routing. Swivel is a non issue for me either way. It will be a nice feature if I ever end up using them…"

"Wireless transmitter????? Both fixed and swivel turrets are fine. If you get swivels get the bottom facing port for sure. There are hose routing pages here which explain both."

I am trying to find out the difference in the Techncial dive community of which is more excepted when diving doubles. A turrets style vs. a fixed first stage.I understand the majority is personal choice and there is another possible fail point with the turret, but on the flip side the hose routing is easier I have seen; Also a wireless transmitter is going to be involved.
