K Factors and PPo2 drop on a pSCR

Hi guysI am trying to wrap my head around the ppo2 drop on a pscr and how to manage it. I have paid and sat through the online classroom and still cant get my head around it!!! I am not a pSCR diver but a CCR diver. I'm seeing more pSCR's in use and thought it would be a good idea to try to understand them, the guys diving them did not seem to be too good at explaining them. I understand the mechanics of the machine but not how to manage ppo2. Can anyone help?? Cheers TomSee More

"How are those drawings coming along?   I was wondering what the custom in customised head entailed.  So the MX-KISS head is like the early early original KISS heads that had the O2 injecting into the exhale side of the scrubber from…"

"Hi Michael, The O2 goes in before the scrubber and the dil goes directly into the head close to the inhale side of the loop. We decided after factory training and getting some time on the unit to go with the KISS ADV. There is no O2 leaky valve...O2…"

"Awsome pics there Tom. The MX-Kiss also has my attention.  Just a question though, how do you have the dill and O2 feeding into your head? I have looked at the other pics on UTD and can't work out if they have the O2 feeding in before or…"

Jeff Seckendorf replied to tom crisp's discussion New KISS MX CCR
"George,   On the KISS, it's a very cool setup...basically a tilt valve placed well out of the slipstream, so almost impossible for it to free flow during scooter runs, etc. So we're offering it as part of the MX-KISS. Each of the…"

"Tom,   Right now we're running the dil from the right post into the input on the side of the head near the ADV, and the ADV is getting fed from the left post.   Jeff"

tom crisp replied to Evgeny Vasilchenko's discussion Best cold water regulator for single tank setup?
"The DS4 is by far the best first stage in  my opinion, however you can get the same hose routing as a mk25 or atomic first stage with an Apeks DST and a 5th port upgrade. personally i use these for singles and they look and work an absolute…"
