Congratulations to Jeff Christiansen!

Hey everyone-

Please join me in congratulating and welcoming Jeff Christiansen to the UTD Instructor Team as an Essentials of Scientific Diving Instructor.

For some time, Jeff has had a vision of integrating team diving into the scientific diving operations at the Seattle Aquarium, and the scientific diving community in general.

Over the past 10 to 11 months, Jeff has worked incredibly hard at meeting the bar.  His enthusiasm, motivation, willingness to learn and hard work has paid off, and I’m proud of his performance throughout his training.  

This is an exciting time for UTD, the Seattle Aquarium and the scientific diving community, as Jeff begins incorporating team diving procedures and protocols into the Seattle Aquarium’s diving operations.
